On Wednesday (April 26th), commuters in Bavaria and throughout Germany will have to reckon with restrictions.

Another warning strike for commuters on Wednesday in Bavaria – "force majeure"

At least if you are traveling within Bavaria, in Aschaffenburg.

Only the Kahlgrund-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft is affected in the southern federal state.

"Some bus lines are affected here," reveals Hans Sterr, press spokesman for Verdi Bayern, in an interview with Merkur.de.

Other local transport companies in Bavaria are not affected because they are not part of the tariff network.

In Aschaffenburg itself, however, the Verdi spokesman expects some significant effects.

Those affected have little choice but to find a solution themselves.

"As always with strikes, this is force majeure," says Sterr on the phone.

When asked whether there could be an agreement in the collective bargaining strike this time, the spokesman only said: "That will become apparent at the latest in the next negotiations on April 28 in Fulda".

Verdi demands 550 euros more wages for the employees.

Apprentices should benefit from 250 euros more.

The working conditions should also improve.

No agreement was reached in the first round of negotiations on April 17.

The around 40 transport companies affected by the strike are not part of the collective agreement for the public sector at federal and local level. After a mega strike on Friday in Munich, there was an agreement here at the weekend.
