Many security guards were stationed this morning (Tuesday) at the military cemetery in Be'er Sheva, ahead of the Remembrance Day ceremony with the participation of Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir.
This, due to the fear of tensions surrounding his arrival, after many bereaved families urged him not to come to the place in the shadow of the national rift surrounding the legal revolution, and some even threatened to boycott the ceremony.
There were even shouts at the place calling on Ben Gavir not to come to the speech.
Earlier, Defense Minister Yoav Galant called at the ceremony of reading the names of the dead at the memorial hall on Mount Herzl to "leave the controversy outside the cemeteries".
"I am again asking the citizens of Israel to keep the sanctity of the day and honor the memory of the fallen," he added.

The ceremonies throughout the country will be held this year against the background of public criticism, even among bereaved families, towards members of the government, and the political disputes in the country.
Following the criticism, several ministers and government members canceled their arrival at the state ceremonies in the cemeteries.
Among other things, it was announced that the Minister of Housing Yitzhak Goldknopf and the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports Yaakov Tesler of the Agudath Israel faction, the Minister of Information Galit Distel Atbarian of the Likud and MK Zvika Vogel of Otzma Yehudit will be absent from the ceremonies.
