United States President Joe Biden officially confirmed today (Tuesday) in a video message that he will run for the White House again in 2024. The
80-year-old Biden is the oldest president in the history of the United States, and concerns about his advanced age have contributed to the fact that 70% of older Americans They believe that he should not run for a second term.
The announcement came on the anniversary of his first campaign announcement on April 25, 2019, sources told CNN.
During his State of the Nation address in February, Biden listed several issues he must "finish," including banning assault rifles and lowering drug prices, as well as restoring the state's constitutional right to abortion through codification.
A new NBC News poll released Sunday found that only 26 percent of US adults — including Republicans — said Biden should run for president again.
On the other hand, the possibility of former President Donald Trump returning to power is likely to unite the Democratic voters behind him.

Trump, 76, appears to be the Republican Party's front-runner for the 2024 race, but he faces many challenges, including being the first president of the United States to be criminally indicted.
Trump said yesterday that "in light of such a failed and disastrous presidency, it is almost inconceivable that Biden would even consider running again."
So far, two other Democrats have announced their candidacy for the presidency: self-help author and former spiritual adviser to Oprah Winfrey, 70-year-old Marian Williamson, and 69-year-old lawyer and nephew of Robert Kennedy, Robert Kennedy Jr.
Williamson supports government-run universal health insurance and at least a trillion dollars in compensation for black Americans.
Kennedy is one of the most prominent opponents of vaccines in the United States and even a friend of the Republicans in the corona epidemic in condemning vaccines.
It is unclear when Biden's campaign will begin.
Tomorrow, he is expected to host South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol for a state dinner.
On Saturday, the annual White House Correspondents' Room dinner takes place, in which the president traditionally attends.
