The Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis, asked this Tuesday that President Alberto Fernández, Vice President Cristina Kirchner and Economy Minister Sergio Massa meet to face what he considered an "attack" on the Government in economic
matters
.
According to the minister, all the militants will stand "behind" the leaders of the Frente de Todos to "defend the right to build a fairer country."
"All the Peronist militants
are going to stand behind them
to defend the right to build a better, fairer Argentina and for everyone," Katopodis said in statements to Radio Con Vos and later replied on his social networks.
The official considered that, given the current economic situation, "Peronism has to stop analyzing, making excuses, complaining, stop speaking ill of other comrades and has to focus."
For Katopodis, "in the face of the attack against our country we need Alberto, Cristina and Massa to get together" because, he said, "that is the strongest and clearest gesture."
Thus, he affirmed that "in the difficult, the most complicated, Peronism has to buckle down, get the best of itself" and guarantee that the sectors that promote a devaluation "cannot advance and break with much of what we have to take care of and defend in Argentina".
The Government is unable to send signals of calm to the market and is witnessing a rise in the blue dollar and financial dollars that
find no ceiling
.
This same Tuesday, when the blue approached 500 pesos, the Economy and the Central Bank intervened with the sale of dollars from official organizations in the Cash with Liquidation and Dollar Stock markets.
