Sirens wailing, five gray and blue police vans pull up to the side of the blocked street.
The loudspeaker request to raise the barrier is ignored.
Lina, 35, biologist, Scientist Rebellion white coat on her back, came from Mülheim, in the Ruhr area,
“to support the blocking movement for the first time”
before being carried away by two police officers.
On the sidewalk, another line of sympathizers has formed, neatly aligned.
Officers surround them and tell them they are committing an offence.
Between the two cordons of militants circulate passers-by.
There are glares, whistles, insults.
A dyed-haired lady in a sleeveless puffer jacket says we should
'throw bananas' at them.
One by one, the activists…
