Actually, every piece of hand luggage should be stowed in it so that it doesn't fly around in turbulence and injure people - but the storage space is very limited.

The TikTok user received applause from some users for her request: “Yes, please!

Contrary to what she expected, however, there are also some users who defend themselves: Often it is flight attendants who would ask passengers to put their jackets in the overhead compartment.
