Trixi has a tumor, no more teeth and sees badly.

The Nuremberg animal shelter is looking for a last home for the poodle bitch.

Nuremberg – “Urgently wanted palliative place for small poodle bitch,” writes the Nuremberg animal shelter for two photos of Trixi.

Because her owner died, the dog ended up in the animal shelter.

Sick poodle lady Trixi is looking for a new home "with sensitive people without children"

"She is now 12 years old and as you can see she didn't arrive here in that good condition," the shelter wrote to its Facebook followers.

Trixi was checked over by a vet.

It turned out that the liver values are very bad "and unfortunately the breast tumor cannot yet be operated on because of the poor blood values."

Trixi can no longer see well and has no more teeth.

The bitch has to learn how to walk the dog again, "but slowly she doesn't think it's that scary anymore, but she doesn't walk long distances anymore." The poodle lady gets along well with small and quiet fellow dogs.

"We wish for them a quiet home with sensitive people without children," writes the shelter.

"Please spare us the comments": Sick bitch is looking for a palliative place

If you want to give Trixi a home, you can fill out the animal shelter's questionnaire.

Finally, the animal shelter expresses one more request: "Please spare us comments as to whether it would not be better to redeem the animal.

Rest assured we have vets on-site who can assess whether or not the dog needs to be euthanized.”

"I think that due to the upcoming, not inconsiderable veterinary costs, the group of interested parties is very limited," fears a woman.

"I wish her all the best and have a nice life and I hope that she will find a place," commented another person.

Many wish the poodle lady luck in finding a new home.

Over 600 people shared the Facebook post in just a few days.
