Agro Sustentable is a project inserted in the Posadas Industrial Park
that produces bio-fertilizers and bio-insecticides and these are already applied to tea, orchards, yerba mate and other crops.
Mayor Alejandro Arnhold is from Capioví, a town that is on Route 12 equidistant from Posadas and Iguazú.

The factory is located on the outskirts of Posadas in the Industrial Park and the investigation played a significant role in the matter.
“We began to brainstorm to develop products that have this triple impact on agriculture.
And we managed to get a fertilizer that had previous works from INTA and the Buenos Aires firm Ojos del Salado, among other very important ones.
The secret was that this organic fertilizer generated more profits by increasing production of more than 30 percent.
We perfected it and launched the GTG fertilizer that improves 50 to 60 percent compared to the controls without applying GTG”, Basanta stated.
At that point, he reiterated the concept: it is a fertilizer that does not have any chemicals that are harmful to health, to the crop and to the soil.
In September 2021, the agreement was signed by which the province provided the place and facilities in the industrial park and Agro Sustentable provided the know-how and technology.
Carlos Rovira, leader of the Renewal and the mind behind these innovations, was emphatic in this regard.
“We wanted to show today, with this model plant, that Misiones is not only at the forefront in other issues such as disruptive education or the knowledge economy, but also in this, through these goods that are produced, marketed and are being installed more and more strongly In the missionary farms, our province is the vanguard of a sustainable agricultural model, the vanguard in the country”, explained the head of the missionary parliament.
"It is a model plant at the Latin American level," Basanta said.
And he added: "We made a strong investment in terms of the laboratory, in terms of tanks and reactors."

And then there is the Bio Insec (organic insecticide and acaricide): in subtropical regions, agriculture is not easy.
And the 'bicherío' is usually very aggressive with crops.
For Rovira, "this start up has a unicorn destiny", he predicted.
"The fundamental impact is the added value for the producer who is using it."
And when remembering the first ones who arrived in the province and worked in agriculture, he pointed out: "Misiones has new disruptive pioneers in agriculture, this means in the heart of the missionary economy."
