The national deputy Graciela Ocaña was launched this Wednesday as a pre-candidate for head of the Buenos Aires Government and will compete within the internship of Together for Change.

Ocaña's decision adds more noise to the fight for the succession of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, which already has half a dozen scored.

Jorge Macri, Fernán Quirós and Soledad Acuña already appear as competitors on the list for the PRO;

Martín Lousteau for radicalism and Ricardo López Murphy for United Republicans.

Ocaña is currently a deputy for the Province (she led the ticket along with Diego Santilli in the last legislative elections) and with the decision she would make a change of district.

The deputy announced her candidacy on the networks: "After the great transformations of recent years, a new stage begins in the City of Buenos Aires. We come to strengthen Together for Change, adding new proposals that have the citizen as their center," she wrote. on his Twitter account.

And he added: "We come to propose a city that prioritizes the attention and needs of the Buenos Aires people. A more austere city, with new priorities in the allocation of spending. We come to take care of the pockets of the Buenos Aires people."

"In these moments of so much uncertainty, it is time to add up. All of us who want a better future for our city and our country have to redouble our commitment. That is why I invite you to join, to participate, and to learn about our proposals," Ocaña closed.

Before launching, Ocaña notified the leaders of Juntos of the move.

He had conversations with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and also with Martín Lousteau.

In the offices of Uspallata, the seat of the Buenos Aires Government, they believe that Ocaña's candidacy could subtract more votes from Lousteau than from the PRO candidates in one STEP.

The truth is that the internal issue of the PRO has not yet been resolved and the head of government decided to promote his candidate, the Minister of Health, Fernán Quirós.

Last week, deputy Álvaro González was announced as campaign manager and the head of government maintains that in the coming days Quirós' campaign will begin to grow.

The doctor also has the support of Elisa Carrió, the leader of the Civic Coalition.

For his part, Jorge Macri maintains his candidacy and has the support of his cousin, the former president, and Patricia Bullrich, Larreta's rival in the presidential fight.

The Minister of Education, Soledad Acuña, is also listed on the list of pre-candidates for the PRO.

The truth is that in order to have a competitive STEP within the PRO, they know that they will have to come up with a single candidate.

But due to internal differences and they have not yet been able to order how the election will be made.
