Eichendorf – The animal shelter Quellenhof Passbrunn from Reisbach in Bavaria regularly provides information about missing animals.

Between health problems and the uncertainty of whether they are still alive: the current notification of April 23, 2023 is particularly affecting.

"We are shocked," said the wording in the Facebook message.

A few hours after finding Merle, they found out about "another, even more neglected dog".

"One could only be redeemed".

Bavarian animal shelter accepts "completely neglected bitch": Nothing is known about her owner

The keepers of the animal shelter describe the dog Merle as "lovely" and "trustworthy".

The fact that she can no longer see so well is an indication that it is a "probably quite old bitch".

In their message, the employees of Quellenhof Passbrunn choose their words carefully - and still express themselves unequivocally.

Her teeth are a "disaster".

Merle would not have been implanted with a transponder.

Accordingly, nothing is known about its previous owner – at least at the current time.
