1-Gourmet

A very varied menu that includes vegetarian and gluten-free options is the proposal of Equilibrium (@equilibriumresto.com.ar), a restaurant whose focus is on the quality of the products used.

Some examples of what you can try in this old house, overlooking the San Miguel de Garicoits square, are a yamaní rice salad with camembert breaded in walnut bread, vegetables, cherry tomatoes, toasted almonds and classic vinaigrette;

a fine herbs trout with natural potatoes and a healthy aduki bean brownie with American cream ice cream.

As a pairing, a natural fruit smoothie, a homemade lemonade or, why not, a glass of wine feel great.

Let It V (@letit_V) is a good suggestion for those looking to eat varied and consciously.

With a menu based on plants and gluten-free ingredients, its proposal includes sushi, fusion dishes, poke bowls, salads and pastries.

His dishes are inspired by different cultures of the world, achieving unique flavors, aromas and textures.

In their four locations they offer lunch, but in the one in Belgrano they have a special menu with a different suggestion every day or an Omasake table with 12 pieces of plant-based sushi, for $2,500 with a water included.

Benedetta (@benedettaroti.cafe) opened last December by chef Agustín Brañas, with a more than innovative proposal: rotisserie dishes with a gourmet twist, where the traceability of each product is taken care of to the maximum.

The spinach tart with Brandsen ricotta and the ciabatta sandwich with sea bass gravlax, fresh onion, arugula and an herb mayonnaise are recommended.

All their breads are homemade and sourdough.

Other light options to enjoy in its warm room or at its little tables on the sidewalk are the cauliflower steak, the roasted eggplant milanese and the beetroot carpaccio.

4-Simple and handmade

Ninina (@ninina.arg) turns ten and celebrates with a renewed menu, where free-range eggs, hydroponic vegetables, organic raw materials –such as flour and sugar– and more natural ingredients stand out.

Some must-sees are their version of Caesar salad that has kale, purple lettuce, crispy chickpeas, Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing and optional grilled chicken or salmon;

the catch of the day with chermula sauce (parsley, cilantro, garlic and lemon) that comes out with edamame and a warm salad of buckwheat, caramelized onion, cranberries and toasted almonds;

and the Patagonia burger with a homemade medallion, Patagonzola cheese, caramelized onion, rocket and tomato chutney.

To accompany, there are juices and fresh fruit smoothies.

5-Vegetarian, vegan and raw dishes

Chef Mauro Massimino was a true visionary about ten years ago, when he created Buenos Aires Verde (@buenosairesverde), the space where he promotes the consumption of seasonal vegetables and products free of pesticides, in tempting flavor combinations.

With the temperatures dropping, it is impossible not to be tempted by its polenta with tomato sauce, roasted vegetables, veggie sausage and pategras;

or with the vegetable curry, which comes with tofu cheese and fresh avocado, accompanied by warm buns, a stir-fried rice with vegetables and toasted cashew nuts.

To drink, be sure to try the juices, smoothies and other natural elixirs on the menu.
