The defendants, three men aged 20 to 21 and a woman aged 19, are suspected of having participated in at least one attempted kidnapping accompanied by physical violence, and acts of "violence, threats
and of sequestration

On April 22, three of the defendants were arrested by the police while driving in the 5th arrondissement of Marseille.
They hit a 25-year-old man, then tried to force him into the back of the vehicle, in which narcotics had been found.
These facts triggered the opening of an investigation by the Marseille prosecutor's office.
This made it possible to identify the fourth suspect, and to link the case to the filing of a complaint by a second victim for acts of "
violence, threats and kidnapping
".
The two cases are linked by the same context: that of a dispute over drug trafficking.
