Seven people
"from the ultra-right movement"
were arrested on the sidelines of a demonstration at the call of the ultra-left, after a brawl, said Thursday evening April 27 the prefecture of the Rhône.
Around 30 people associated with the ultra-right came to meet around 50 people who were taking part in a rally around 8:00 p.m., and

were exchanged, the prefecture told AFP.
The demonstration was held following a call on social networks to denounce the cancellation of a concert.
A set of DJs and rappers planned on the roof of the basilica of Lyon had indeed been canceled after
"threats of serious violence"

Tear gas
The prefecture had on Thursday banned for the evening any demonstration in Old Lyon, where the rally was initially planned,
"due to the risk of clashes between several violent groups"
.
A new meeting place has been indicated on social networks, in the center of Lyon, where the incidents took place.
The police also intervened to disperse the demonstration, using tear gas.
Around 200 people then gathered to demonstrate in front of Lyon city hall, calmly around 9:30 p.m., according to the prefecture.
