During her visit last week to Yad Vashem, Intelligence Minister Gila Gamaliel signed the museum's guest book under the wrong title - "Minister of Defense" - this was published this morning (Thursday) in Yedioth Ahronoth.
Her office was surprised by the case and said: "Not a bad idea, but the Minister of Defense is Yoav Galant. This is a writer's mistake that was written distractedly during a particularly exciting tour."
The minister visited the memorial site during Holocaust Day together with the son of the Iranian Shah, Reza Pahlavi, who came to participate in the ceremony.
At the end of the visit, the two wrote their blessing in the guest book on the spot.
The minister herself said that she did not notice that she had signed the wrong title in real time.

"It was very exciting to come with the son of the Shah Reza Pahlavi who came to participate in Holocaust Day, to support Israel and the Jews and to honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust," wrote Gamaliel and signed "Defense Minister Gila Gamaliel".
The Shah's son wrote in Persian and English: "We will never forget this visit and will cherish it in our hearts forever."
