The Economy Minister attributed the run to an interest in generating financial uncertainty. The Minister of Economy,

Sergio Massa, blamed "four living" for the financial uncertainty

that took place this week, in which the blue dollar shot up to almost 500 pesos.

It is the same crutch used by Vice President Cristina Kirchner, who used it yesterday in La Plata to target the so-called 'red circle'.

The minister's phrase was given during the presentation of the Argentina Irrigated Comprehensive Plan, which seeks to improve the amount of cultivated area in the country.

It was held at the CCK and included the participation of Alberto Fernández and several governors.

Massa —who announced that he would make a longer presentation than usual— stressed that the program aims to ensure that the State generates tools to improve the production of regional economies.

In this line, he replicated the figure of the "four alive" that generate uncertainty.

"(As a State) we not only intervene

when we see four living who want to take advantage of uncertainty to generate economic uncertainty

. We also do it to add added value to our economy," Massa said, paraphrasing Cristina.

Last night, in La Plata, the former president had said that Argentina's economic growth "is being carried away by four people."

"We are facing a new phenomenon of real and genuine economic growth but with poor income distribution. For the first time,

poor dependent workers

. This has never happened to us," she said.

Massa also highlighted the recently implemented agreement with China that allows the use of swap yuan to pay for imports, and called for deepening the synergy with the Asian giant.

"

Today it is our main buyer and our main seller.

We have to deepen the synergy, not only using the currency," he said, at the same time that he asked for this Swap to increase added value in regional economies.

According to data released during the presentation, the program will generate 80,000 new jobs and "1,970 million dollars every year" as production of regional economies.

"Let's hope that, whoever governs governs, it is understood that when we talk about increasing the arable area, what we are talking about is how much Argentine work we sell to the world, and this is also income distribution," said Massa.

A troubled week for the minister

The intervention to which the minister referred was the threat he made last Tuesday, where he warned that he

would use the Exchange Criminal Justice to stop any destabilizing attempt

by the market, one of the various measures with which he tried to contain the parallel dollar .

The week had started convulsed by the rumor

released by the financial company Max Capital

about a 50% devaluation that would take place this week, which was sent to the clients of said consultancy last Friday.

Max Capital had to leave urgently to deny the rumor and apologize to Massa himself.

In addition to the threats, the minister took advantage of two other pillars: on the one hand, he authorized the Central to sell dollars from its reserves to go out and buy bonds and thus stop the skyrocketing financial exchange rates.

On the other, he assured that "fresh dollars would arrive" while

he renegotiated new terms for the agreement with the Monetary Fund

.

He also raised the rate that he pays for new debt that he took on in pesos.
