For the first time, Lorie Pester will be in the position of the investigative journalist who goes into the field and collects the confidences of her interlocutors.

“I'm more used to answering questions than asking them.

It's a job I had to learn.

I was coached by the production journalists”

, she underlines about her dozen days of filming.

“My role consisted of going to see patients in their homes to ask them questions and for them to explain their problems and their daily lives to me.

Affected by endometriosis herself, Lorie Pester believes she is approaching an area that concerns her directly and was able to question the medical staff with relevance.

After several years of fighting to get pregnant, the artist gave birth to her first child in September 2020.

“I can no longer have children because of endometriosis

, she explained to our colleagues.

They removed my uterus because I was in too much pain and it had become unbearable.
