Patricia Bullrich's warning to the mayors aligned with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta

In a meeting of the Buenos Aires table of the PRO, the former Minister of Security set conditions to give the ballot to the communal chiefs.

Two months after the closing of the lists, and given the lack of definition regarding the PRO's electoral offer in the country's main district, Patricia Bullrich held a meeting with the members of the party's Buenos Aires table.

In their offices in front of the Plaza de Mayo,

Diego Santilli

-pre-candidate for governor with the support of

Horacio Rodríguez Larreta-

met

Cristian Ritondo, Néstor Grindetti and Javier Iguacel

, also aspiring to succeed

Axel , for the meeting and for the photo.

.

There was no discussion on whether there will be a single candidate from the PRO or competition.

Bullrich maintains that he will go

with his own applicant

, but they did not broach the subject.

The debate, with some short circuits, was generated from the scenario in the municipalities.

The meeting was attended by mayors aligned with Rodríguez Larreta such as

Julio Garro

(La Plata),

Diego Valenzuela

(Tres de Febrero) and

Ezequiel Galli

(Olavarría), and two former community leaders who will seek to govern again:

Martiniano Molina

(Quilmes) and

Ramiro Tagliaferro

(Hummock).

“You ask me for the ballot,

why am I going to give you my political capital if you support Larreta?

If they don't support me with the same strength and dedication, and they make it public, I'm going to compete throughout the province," Bullrich warned them at one point.

In turn, the former Minister of Security put other conditions for an eventual agreement:

"Transparent financing must also be guaranteed and that they are going to play fair with the ballots

. "

As

Clarín

reported , the question of whether or not there will be competition in the municipalities, especially those in the hands of the PRO, has been generating controversy.

In a meeting with the Buenos Aires board a few days after announcing that he will not go for his second term, Mauricio Macri asked that the 22 mayors of the party be able to post their lists of all the candidates for president and governor.

"Let them settle upstairs, we can't have a quilombo here

," the communal chiefs demanded.

The candidates in districts governed by Peronism, with certain chances of making a competitive election, also shared the view.

Due to the dispute between Rodríguez Larreta and Bullrich, and the mistrust between the armed forces and the inspection, there is no closed agreement.

"Possibly it will end up being defined on a case-by-case basis

," they advanced from both sectors.

Espert's arrival

The incorporation of José Luis Espert to Juntos por el Cambio was another axis of discussion, not because of the endorsement of his entry but because of the place he will occupy on the ballot.

Bullrich prefers that he compete in the province, to dispute the vote of Javier Milei's candidate for governor.

In the district there is no runoff, so he considers it will be convenient in the dispute against Axel Kicillof.

In this way, in turn, he intends

to avoid what he understands as a maneuver by Rodríguez Larreta

to take votes away from her.

Others, like the head of government, imagine Espert as a candidate for president.

The points that I get are going to be more valuable at the national level.

He is more solid than Milei and in a debate he can add a lot to us.

Patricia once again wants to accommodate him based on his coexistence, ”they pointed out at the Buenos Aires headquarters on Uspallata street.

The meeting with Bullrich was also attended by Guillermo Montenegro, Soledad Martínez, Pablo Petrecca, Javier Martínez, Alex Campbell, Adrián Urreli, Florencia Retamoso, Silvia Lospennato and Christian Gribaudo.
