The main leaders of the PRO have been meeting in San Isidro since eight in the morning, in a summit in which they will seek to deactivate the inmates that have been crossing the party since the beginning of the year and in which they are expected to define the national strategy facing to the next elections.
The meeting, which is being held at the home of former Labor Minister Jorge Triaca, will also serve to formalize
the arrival at Juntos por el Cambio of José Luis Espert
, the liberal economist who already has the support of the UCR, the Civic Coalition and Republican Peronism.
It is discounted that the party created by Mauricio Macri also adheres to his arrival.

After Mauricio Macri resigned from a candidacy at the end of March, the main candidates became Rodríguez Larreta and Bullrich.
Also noted in that national race,

asked that the strategy to be followed throughout the country be defined at a party table.
That could lead to his own decision to go on to compete for the Buenos Aires head of government, on a list that has the approval of Macri, Larreta and Bullrich.

In the province of Buenos Aires, the discussion for candidacies is also open.
Two of the main candidates for the governorship are Santilli and Ritondo, who were at the Sanisidrense meeting.
The other pure PRO who is betting on being governor, endorsed by Bullrich, is Néstor Grindetti.
The Buenos Aires discussion was put on the table in recent days after the arrival of José Luis Espert to Juntos por el Cambio was decided.
The liberal economist sent a letter to be integrated into the coalition.
He achieved acceptance from the UCR, from the Civic Coalition and also from the republican Peronism of Miguel Pichetto.
The PRO is expected to confirm it today.
Espert arrives at Juntos por el Cambio propped up especially by Santilli and Larreta, with the idea that with his candidacy he will wear down Javier Milei and promote a STEP of the main opposition coalition.
In the 2021 legislative elections, playing alone,
Espert got more than 700,000 votes, about 7 percentage points

Adding that part of the list would allow JxC to get closer to a victory in the general elections in October, taking into account that the scenario without a ballotage favors Governor Axel Kicillof, who is presumed to seek re-election.
The debate, it is expected, will also revolve around Javier Milei, the day after Cristina Kirchner brought the libertarian candidate into the electoral ring in her act on Thursday in La Plata.
