Again and again the climate activists of the group "Last Generation" shut down traffic with their blockades.

In Berlin, however, drivers did not let this stop them.

The Berliners are currently simply not to be envied.

Hardly a day goes by when the “last generation” doesn't paralyze traffic in the capital.

And Formula E was not safe from the protests either.

The nerves of many capital city dwellers are on edge.

However, some reacted extremely creatively and did not let the blockades stop them.

Air-conditioning stickers block the road – drivers don't let them stop them

At least in the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz, the motorists found a solution on Tuesday (April 25) that the climate stickers should not have expected.

Completely unimpressed by the climate activists, the traffic just kept flowing.

Just stop across the lawn inside the roundabout.

However, this peaceful reaction to the protest of the climate stickers is not entirely legal.

However, it is doubtful that the Berlin police will hold the drivers accountable based on the video material on the Internet.

The situation is different with a driver from Düsseldorf who pushed a climate sticker onto the street.

And even a Berliner who pulled the activists' hair off the A100 could face trouble.

Top 10: The ten most popular cars in Germany

10th place - Tesla Model Y (35,426 new registrations): Only one purely electric car made it into the top 10 of new registrations in Germany in 2022 - and that comes from Tesla.

The Model Y, which is now also being built in Germany – in the Gigafactory in Grünheide near Berlin, has been sold more than 35,000 times.

9th place – BMW 3 Series (36,231 new registrations): At the beginning of the 2000s, the BMW 3 Series was still well above the 100,000 mark in the new registration statistics.

But then came the SUV and numerous new model variants such as the 4 Series, which gnawed at the sales figures of the 3 Series.

With 9th place, the Munich player still made it into the top 10 in 2022.

8th place - Ford Kuga (38,482 new registrations): Hardly any car manufacturer can afford not to have an SUV in their range these days - not even Ford. Many drivers prefer easy access and a high seating position.

With the Kuga, Ford took 8th place in the KBA's new registration statistics.

7th place – VW Passat (39,261 new registrations): For a long time, the Passat was considered the classic company car.

Of course, the practical combination shape is also well suited for families.

Nevertheless, many now prefer the SUV.

That's why the Passat isn't as successful as it was a few years ago.

In 2011, for example, the Wolfsburg-based company was even further ahead with more than 100,000 new registrations.

Driving record of a MiniPlatz 6 - Mini (40,142 new registrations): Few new editions of cars are as successful as the Mini, which was breathed new life under the leadership of BMW.

To this day, the vehicles are very popular - and it is enough for 6th place among new registrations.

The Mini is available in many different versions - but the KBA does not differentiate between the models.

An Opel CorsaRank 5 - Opel Corsa (50,191 new registrations): In the small car segment, the Opel Corsa was something of the eternal number two behind the VW Polo - but it didn't even make it into the top 10 in 2022.

The staying power has now paid off for the Corsa - with a proud 5th place in the new registrations.

Around 15,000 of these were for the E version of the little Rüsselsheimer.

A Fiat 500 4th place - Fiat 500 (52,337 new registrations): A small Italian has made it to fourth place in Germany.

Quite surprising: Because small cars are actually hardly in demand.

However, its popularity has to do with the fact that it is also available in an electric version - and only a few electric vehicles are still available in this category.

For example, 29,653 of the 52,337 Fiat 500s newly registered in 2022 are purely electric.

A VW T-RocRank 3 – VW T-Roc (58,942 new registrations): Volkswagen makes up the top 3 among themselves.

The T-Roc just missed second place: VW sold just 194 fewer units than the Tiguan.

The compact SUV is due for a facelift next year – it may then be enough for more.

Driving recording of a VW TiguanPlace 2 - VW Tiguan (59,136 new registrations): SUVs are still a bestseller in Germany - this is also shown by the runner-up in new registrations in 2022. However, the current Tiguan generation is now coming to an end - already in the next A successor is to be launched this year.

This is a VW Golf. 1st place - VW Golf (84,282 new registrations): It's not for nothing that the compact class is also called the Golf class - the Wolfsburg is and remains number 1. However, its time seems to be running out slowly, because not so long ago the top dog still ranked first with more than 200,000 new registrations.

Can he really make it to the top again in 2023?

Climate stickers block the road: "And if they haven't died, they're still stuck."

Even among supporters of the climate movement, the climate activists' form of protest is increasingly being rejected.

The Friday for Future group recently even distanced itself from the "last generation".

The reactions on social media also show how annoyed most Germans are by the protests of the "last generation".

    Let it stick!”

  • "A great deal - by the drivers, of course."

  • "And if they haven't died, they're still sticking."

  • "Well done, dear fellow citizens of Berlin!

Let's show them that we won't put up with it."

  • "Go around is the opposite of go around."

  • "Woe, the police are trying to write a ticket to one of the drivers."
