But it always looks impressive: a user posted a photo of an Augustiner beer bottle on Twitter, which is said to have been found during construction work in Munich.

In English, user Rogelio Galván wrote: "This Augustiner beer bottle was recently found during renovation work in a former electronics store in Munich.

The exact date of the bottle is unclear, but it could be from the 1930s/1940s.”

The photo shows at least halfway that the bottle, which looks pretty battered, is in fact an Augustiner beer.

"Export beer" can be read at the top, the coat of arms of the Augustiner Bräu is clearly visible further down.

Many people enjoyed the image of the old-looking beer bottle.

The tweet collected almost 50 likes and was shared by some users.

Based on the photo, it is of course difficult to estimate how old the beer bottle really is.

However, it would not be surprising if she were actually in her 80s or 90s.

After all, the Augustiner Bräu is the oldest still existing brewery in Munich - and was accordingly able to look forward to high sales figures in the first half of the 20th century.
