The Hariri crime organization is currently one of the dominant and strongest crime organizations in Israel.

Haifa District Court Judge Amir Tobi recently stated as part of a sentence that members of the Hariri family have a "reputation of violent people who use force, threats and intimidation in order to motivate people to do or refrain from an act, and mentioning the name of the Hariri family members has a terrifying effect." .

From there they send arms all over the country.

Their activity is evident in the field of extortion through threats and other areas of crime, and they directed the extreme wealth of its leaders to legitimate and semi-legitimate areas such as currency conversions, forex investments in foreign currencies, online gambling and even high-tech, in Israel and Europe and recently also in South Africa.

In February, the District Court in Haifa approved a plea agreement against Naser Hariri, one of the heads of the Hariri crime family, according to which he will be convicted of extortion by threats and conspiracy, and will serve only one and a half years in prison.

The amended indictment to which Hariri admitted, who also received a suspended sentence and a fine, indicates that Hariri and other people blackmailed citizens who won tenders for land from the Israel Lands Authority.

According to the indictment, Hariri blackmailed the winners of the tender in order to expropriate the rights to the lots, and some of them were even required to pay him and his family money.

This, among other things, through the use of the last name of the criminal organization.
