2023-04-30T09:38:23.432Z

The Minister of Public Accounts assures that the former presidential candidate is "systematically against the interests of the middle classes".

This is the subject on which the executive is trying to impose itself: the future of the "middle classes".

Defined as those who do not have enough to live comfortably, but too much to benefit from public aid, these have recently been particularly pampered by Emmanuel Macron.

Recently, its Minister of Public Accounts, Gabriel Attal, even mentioned a “

Marshall Plan

” intended for this category of the population.

He also wants to confront the opposition on this subject and has proposed a debate to Marine Le Pen to do so.

Which declined, refusing to "

manufacture the presidential stature that Gabriel Attal does not have

".

There will therefore be no face-to-face between the former presidential candidate and the macronie faithful.

"

Since she obviously talks about it, let's have a debate together on the situation of the middle classes where she will be able to report on the positions that have been hers in recent years, systematically against the interest of the middle classes in France"

, had however formulated the young minister on Friday, on the set of France Info.

A debate with Jordan Bardella

In the columns of Le

Parisien

this Sunday, the leader of the deputies of the National Rally may well say she is "

flattered

", she prefers to decline.

Without leaving Gabriel Attal empty-handed, however, since she assures that Jordan Bardella, the president of the party, "

will debate with him with pleasure

".

For her part, Marine Le Pen also replies briefly on the merits: “

In six years, Emmanuel

Macron has transferred a significant part of the taxes which weighed on the most privileged towards the middle classes.

They find themselves crushed between the hammer of compulsory levies and the anvil of the spectacular increase in constrained expenditure.

Party spokesman Jean-Lin Lacapelle also assured that RN members were "

ready for debate

".

But is Mr.

Attal a candidate for the presidential election?

“, he pretended to question France Info.

Before adding: “

If he is, then let him propose a debate to Marine Le Pen, of course.
