It happened on Saturday in the pits of the Concepción del Uruguay racetrack. The young man ended up in the hospital and denounced the pilot. What did he tell her?

On Saturday afternoon, while the qualifying events for the fifth date of Turismo Carretera were taking place, José Manuel Urcera, the champion of the category, hit a fan in the boxing area of the Concepción del Uruguay Autodrome for speaking in bad terms about his girlfriend, Nicole Neumann.

The fan ended up in the hospital due to the injuries caused by the pilot.

According to witnesses of the situation, after being rebuked by the young man who spoke ill of his girlfriend, Urcera got off his skateboard and hit the young man without hesitation.

The journalist Juan Carlos Saavedra explained that the event happened late in the afternoon.

According to his account, the fan insulted him for the championship he achieved last year and for how he had started his relationship with Nicole Neumann.

It was then that Urcera did not hesitate to approach the fan and punch him.

After the violent event, the pilot continued on his way and the physically assaulted person ended up in the hospital where he decided to file a complaint.

Some witnesses also said that the motorist left as if he was unaware of the assault he had carried out.

Urcera's aggression is added to that of Valentín Aguirre who, in the race that took place in El Calafate, took the cell phone of a fan who was filming him after being left out of the race.

After the bad moment, the situation was clarified and it was learned that it was a fan who was smiling nervously because he was close to his idol.

However, the pilot could not control his impotence for having been eliminated from the race.

On the track, the victory went to Todino

The Buenos Aires native Germán Todino today achieved Dodge's first victory in the 2023 Turismo Carretera season, by winning a final of 25 vibrant laps at the Concepción del Uruguay Autodrome, Entre Ríos.

Second place went to "Pinchito" Jonatan Castellano (Dodge), author of pole position on Saturday, and third place to Julián Santero (Ford), new leader of the championship.

Todino, 22, achieved his third victory in the highest category of Argentine motorsports, the first with the brand of the ram, which he won again exactly two years after Castellano led him to success on the same track in Entre Ríos.

Rivera's driver took first place in the second restart of a race that began with the alternate leadership of Mariano Werner (Ford) and Castellano from Paraná.

Werner, two-time champion of the 2020 and 2021 category, deserted on the fifth lap due to a tire failure that took him off the track and caused the trunk of his car to break.

When entering the pits for his change, the engine temperature rose and did not allow him to return to the competition.

Todino and Castellano fought tooth and nail for first place during half a round when the last restart of a competition full of incidents was decreed.

"I measured it, I looked for it ahead and I said: 'whatever God wants'. We have had an impressive race, we went for everything, with some tremendous maneuvers," the winner told the official transmission of the ACTC.

Todino confessed that he "needed this victory" in Concepción del Uruguay after having a "bad emotional time".

His previous victory had been in Concordia, in June 2022, as a Torino pilot.

The Buenos Aires native completed the 25 laps of the final in 43:33.641, with an advantage of 0.378 over Castellano and 8.664 in relation to Santero, who moved to the front in the general classification with 164.5 points.

Outside the Concepción podium were Diego Ciantini (Chevrolet), Uruguayan Mauricio Lambiris (Ford), Santiago Mangoni (Chevrolet), Juan Catalán Magni (Ford), Juan Martín Trucco (Dodge), Marcos Landa (Torino) and the current champion. Juan Manuel Urcera (Torino).

In the championship, behind Santero from Mendoza, are Castellano (154 units), Lambiris (149.5), Werner (147), Catalán Magni (139) and Todino (133.5).

The sixth date of the TC will be held on May 21 at the Termas de Río Hondo circuit.
