"A minister of this Government told me that a minister of this Government does not send food items, cooperatives and neighborhood development, because he does not like what I say on television", was the comment that Juan Grabois released
,
in enigmatic way during a television interview,
The statement did not go unnoticed by
Victoria Tolosa Paz
, who replied harshly: “I deny Juan Grabois's style of putting words that did not exist.
I asked Juan Grabois to stop lashing out at the Economy Minister,
Sergio Massa
, because he is part of the Frente de Todos."
The short circuit between the official and the piquetero referent did not escalate beyond that dialectical crossing.
However, the question remained about the amount that the Government has been distributing to cooperatives and associations and what percentage of that cake goes to those who respond to Grabois.
During 2022,
three cooperatives
that report to the Movement of Excluded Workers and the CTEP, both spaces dominated by Grabois, collected
$300 million
in State funds, distributed as follows.
El Amanecer de los Cartoneros was the association that obtained the most income from the Nation.
Exactly
$254,086,547
was transferred to said association last year, as Clarín was able to verify in official records.
However,
it obtained fewer resources than in previous years
: for example, in 2020, it had received $394,518,914.
There were a total of $880,885,788 in three years, which when converted to dollars and according to the price of each year were US$ 6,234,528.
These are shipments that go outside the main State plan for cooperatives, Empowering Work. And for this reason, in the jargon they are considered "discretionary funds."
Other associations that are also part of the CTEP received official funds between 2020 and 2022. The La Patriada Limitada cooperative, for example, received
$31,360,000
last year.
The movements of the budget allocated to it were variable: in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, it received $175,942,875, but in 2021 it had no state resources.
The other cooperative that depends on the CTEP led by Grabois is that of Obreros de Cartón Limitada, which received $14,880,000
last year
and overall for these three years reached $275,174,976: $166,086,863 in 2020 and $74,208,113 in 2021.
The map of cooperatives and how much they charge
There are other cooperatives that are also linked to Grabois, but that
are part of UTEP
, the conglomerate of social leaders that promote the popular economy and that also includes, among others, Esteban Castro, Emilio Pérsico and Daniel Menéndez.
But they do not depend directly on Grabois like the others mentioned.
Even in a context of constant income, the official figures that
Clarín
accessed reflect that the Grabois cooperatives received less funds in 2022 than they had been collecting until 2021.
That seems to be the central complaint of the social leader
, who in recent weeks repeatedly questioned Sergio Massa.
"We are not even going to vote for this shitter and country seller" and "he does not distribute funds because he does not like to be criticized on television", were some of the grievances and criticisms that Grabois launched at the head of the Renewal Front.
With Tolosa Paz, on the other hand, the social leader maintains a relationship of some affinity through the internal link of the Ministry of Social Development.
That did not prevent the minister from crossing it: “I deny Juan Grabois's style of putting words that did not exist.
I asked Juan Grabois to stop lashing out at the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, because he is part of the Frente de Todos."
The main cooperative that received funds last year was precisely one linked to Social Development.
The Dream of the Little Prince, which responds to the union leader of the ministry Mariana Larrea Gadea, collected $1,019 million during 2022, of which $633 million were received in the management of Tolosa Paz, from November 18 to December 28, according to to which the Ministry of Social Development itself confirmed.
Much more than the cooperatives near Grabois charged.
Internal open.
