Ran Erez announces a strike, February 3, 2023 (teachers' organization)
The teachers' organization announced today (Sunday) a warning strike this coming Tuesday in grades 10-11 throughout the country.
This, according to the organization, following "more than a year of fruitless negotiations"
"I am sorry to see the lack of interest that the Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, shows in what is happening in the education system," said the chairman of the organization Ran Erez, "about the lack of professional teachers, about the existing abandonment and the disdain of the treasury officials for the high school teachers' lawsuits."
"Seven days have passed since the court ruled that the state must conduct substantive negotiations and nothing has changed," the teachers' organization said, adding that this week is added to a year of "fruitless negotiations."
