Spring is returning in many places, and many people can look forward to sunshine and mild temperatures over the long weekend.

Offenbach – The weather in many places in Germany cannot be described as really stable at the moment.
Whether showers or even thunderstorms, cloudy prospects and cool temperatures: the weather in Germany is currently changing its facets almost daily.
After storms on Friday (April 28) in Baden-Württemberg, for example, caused numerous flooded cellars and even a landslide, showers and isolated thunderstorms had to be expected in many places on Saturday.
However, the prospects are turning to sunnier times again, with the German Weather Service (DWD) announcing many hours of sunshine.

As the German Weather Service explained on Saturday, Sunday should be sunny for longer.
And it should also remain dry in most regions.
The only exception: local showers could occur in the southern highlands.
According to the DWD, the maximum values are between 13 degrees in the coastal inland and up to 20 degrees in the southwest.
The wind is mostly weak.

Germany does not have to say goodbye to the sun, at least on Monday.
Then, according to DWD information, there will also be a lot of sun in the north-east.
Otherwise a change of sun and clouds is expected.
However, it is not quite as spring-like everywhere.
In the southern half, heavy cloud cover and showery rain in some areas as well as isolated thunderstorms must be expected.
The temperatures should be between 15 and 21 degrees.

Diplom meteorologist Dominik Jung, managing director of the weather service Q.met, also sees brighter prospects for Germany in the coming week.
“Next week the sun will shine again and again, from time to time there will be a few clouds, no rain in sight.
Actually quite passable for the first week of May”.

Shortly before the start of the summer season, a lack of water is causing problems in many regions of southern Europe.
