Here, the Israel Broadcasting Corporation demands that Hot immediately remove ads that use the "Main Box" brand in order to promote Hot NEXT TV's streaming service.

"Furthermore, according to those ads, you enable the viewing of the corporation's content as part of the service (or at the very least present a presentation as if the corporation's content is being broadcast by you), all without receiving permission from the corporation, and in a manner that constitutes a violation of the corporation's rights."
Here they now demand that Mahot immediately cease any unauthorized use of the corporation's content, whether for the purpose of promoting the service, including promoting the purchase of subscriptions to the service, and claim heavy damages as a result of the violation.

In the past, the CEO of the corporation, Golan Yochpaz, clarified to the CEO of Hot that the contents of the corporation will not be transferred into private hands, without payment, and clarified that half of the amount collected for the contents of the corporation will be transferred to the producers and the other half will be used for future productions.
Later, Netflix and the El Al company, each separately made deals with the corporation for the screening of Kaan's content - including the series Main Box.
Hot, is now at the height of a regulatory and financial struggle against Keshet's new streaming venture - and one of the ways it is using them is by publishing ads according to which you can watch the hit series "Kupa Rashat" on NEXT TV.

This is not the only front that the CEO of Hot Tel Garnot is dealing with, it also concerns matters of legal provider use of content, and raises questions about the way the cable giant conducts itself these days, under the drastic changes in the industry. request To issue a temporary restraining order against Hot, this is in the framework of the ever-increasing struggle between the entities regarding the content agreements and the OTT project of Keshet freetv which is going to compete with HOT.
The court ordered Hot to submit a response within 4 days and ordered a 2-party hearing within 8 days.
Hot's response to the matter has not yet been received.
