After announcing his candidacy, Samid launched a poll on Twitter asking who his followers would vote for.

In addition to Samid and Fernando Espinoza, the current mayor of the district, the other options were Verónica Magario (who is currently deputy governor of Axel Kicillof in the province) and Eduardo "Lalo" Creus, who would be one of the candidates for Together for Change.
