Five of the six individuals admitted the facts in police custody.
The group of young people aged 16 to 21 was "
present at all the demonstrations on March 22, 23 and 28, as well as April 6 and 13, 2023
", specifies the Bordeaux prosecutor's office at Le
Figaro
on Tuesday.
Identified by the national police as part of the investigation into the damage committed on the sidelines of the processions opposing the pension reform, they were arrested on April 27 at their home.
Spotted in particular thanks to video recordings, the five individuals who confessed to the facts were brought to the Bordeaux court on Tuesday for the opening of a judicial investigation.
Designated by the Public Ministry as "
the cause of numerous disturbances to public order
", these thugs will have to answer for "
deliberate damage by fire, in a meeting, by person with their face concealed
".

They are also under the yoke of accusations of "
possession of explosive substances
" and of complicity and/or intentional violence in meetings against the police.
They are also accused of having concealed their faces “
during a demonstration accompanied by disturbances
” by participating in “
a group formed with a view to preparing violence or destruction
”, two characteristics of black blocs.
All this by providing “
imaginary identity information
” in the event of an arrest.
The Bordeaux prosecutor's office has requested temporary detention for two of the main suspects, one being an adult and without a criminal record while the second is known to the juvenile judge.
The placement under judicial supervision of the three other suspects was requested, while the last and sixth individual - a minor who denied the facts - was released at the end of his police custody.
