The pre-candidate for president said that accepting the slaughterer as a force would "tarnish the memory" of the deceased journalist who was the main actor in a historic fight with the businessman.

The pre-candidate for president

Javier Milei

flatly refused to add to his ranks the butcher

Alberto Samid

, who announced this Tuesday that he will once again present himself as a candidate for mayor of La Matanza and that he would agree to compete under the seal of La Libertad Avanza.

The libertarian said that he would not enter into an alliance with the meat businessman due to the great friendship he had with the late journalist Mauro Viale.

He also defined it as

"a nefarious being."

In this way, the economist reissued a historic moment on Argentine television:

the confrontation with pineapples, in front of the cameras, between Viale and Samid.

The fight became a meme over the years and immortalized phrases in the collective unconscious such as

"You have to regret what you said."

Javier Milei defined Alberto Samid as "a disastrous being".

In a message on his Twitter account, Milei said that he was

a "friend of Mauro Viale".

"Has been

one of the people for whom I have had the most affection in the media (since he was a great teacher for me)", he highlighted.

And without euphemisms, he stated:

"Accepting a nefarious being like Samid in my ranks would stain the memory of my FRIEND".

Samid, a historic slaughterer and Peronist leader, confirmed that

he will run as a candidate for mayor of La Matanza,

the largest stronghold of Peronism in the province of Buenos Aires, and slipped the possibility of joining Javier Milei's space.

"I

don't dislike Milei,

he hasn't ruled yet. We blame a guy who didn't rule and those who have been around for many years steal and nobody tells them anything," he said on Radio

Diez

.

In addition, he highlighted the figure of the pre-candidate for president of La Libertad Avanza, which, he said, has great support from young people.

"I don't know what the ideas are, here we had a government that said 'if I said what I was going to do, they wouldn't vote for me.' or bad," he said.

When asked if he would be Milei's candidate in La Matanza, he replied:

"Yes, without a doubt."

He although he acknowledged that he has not yet had any contact with the leader of the libertarians.
