For a month now,
Jimena Cyrulnik
has been traveling through
Southeast Asia
visiting magnificent
Buddhist temples, paradisiacal beaches and overcrowded cities
with her boyfriend, who surprised her for her last birthday with the news of this
dream vacation
in which they mixed pleasure and work. .
It is that, in dialogue with
Clarín
, the host, who has been away from the media since last year, when she was a panelist in
Nosotros a la mañana
(El Trece, at 9), recounted details of her days in
Thailand
, where She is also taking the opportunity to search for exclusive fabrics and designs for her swimwear brand.
In a telephone communication from
Ko Tao
, an island considered one of the best diving places in the aforementioned country, Jimena recalled the proposal with which her partner surprised her at the end of last year.

"In
November
, which was my
birthday
, my boyfriend came with the surprise of giving me this trip. He told me 'well, organize the house, the boys, and the work that in April we are going to visit Thailand for a month,' "he
explained
.
And he continued: "The trip started a month ago in
Bangkok
, where I also wanted to see some fabric factories for the new collection of my bikini and lingerie brand (Xyrus), and then
we did all of northern Thailand,
everything that is cities of the Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai temples, where the elephants are and everything is divine,
and then we came to the south and we are touring the beaches.
Next week is over"

"I did not know, I
had never come this far and the truth is that it is amazing.
The spirituality that the Thais have is felt everywhere. They are very calm, very confident. We move a lot on motorcycles and everyone leaves their little motorcycles with their helmets loose and no one touches anything," she said in amazement.
As an example, the driver recalled an anecdote that she experienced days ago: "I left my cell phone on top of the motorcycle we were riding on, I went to the beach, I came back two hours later and no one touched it. And it's not that people here have plenty of money.
They live with the bare minimum, but they are very educated, kind, and that caught my attention.
The spirituality they have is beautiful. From the start, they greet you with their little hands, bowing."

-Do not these situations make you think about the possibility of going to live in a place like this with your children?
-No, when I retire, at sixty, we used to say with my partner that this is a good place because there are amazing beaches, the weather is spectacular, it's a paradise.
But I have small children, school children, family, friends, my life today is in Argentina, I would not hang up everything or come here.
-How did you organize yourself with your children?
-The children now stayed with their father and my mother, who put up with me fully, taking care of the house and the children when they have to be with me.
They are 13 and 9 years old, so we talk every day before they go to bed and when they get up to go to school, since we are right on backwards time.
-When are you coming back?
-Next week.
Now I am in Ko Tao, which is the last beach we do and then we return to Bangkok and from there to Argentina.
The driver is finishing this dream trip through Southeast Asia.
How he will continue his 2023 and why he moved away from the media
-What plans do you have for the rest of the year?
-Continue growing with my brand, which is already seven years old and is installed.
We have very loyal clients, a community of women with spectacular back and forth who write to me, ask me for products.
Luckily we know each other a lot and we are very settled.
-What do you like the most about this new profession of undertaking and designing?
-The job of designing allows me to spend more time with my children than when you're on TV all day and I can make these getaways.
The truth is that it is easier this way than if I had a daily job on TV, as I did at the time.
Jimena dreams of continuing to grow with her clothing brand and does not rule out returning to television.
Was it something you were looking for?
-No, it happened a little.
I love television but it began to happen to me that my work as a designer and the brand itself began to capture more time, giving me a lot of satisfaction and a lot of benefits of all kinds.
I have more space to be at home with my children and a very good round trip.
It went away and I dedicated myself more to this and I love it.
Of course I also like TV, but today I am more focused on this because it closes me on all sides.
-Despite everything, would you like to return to TV?
I get proposals all the time.
But hey, now this thing keeps happening to me that I'm still waiting for the ideal gap to be able to be on TV at the right time, to be able to combine work and a lot of time with my children.
