Marion Cotillard sees life in pink.
The interpreter of Edith Piaf in
La Môme
made a colorful appearance at the Met Gala evening in New York on May 1, 2023. The actress walked the red carpet with hair tinted with pink streaks pastel, on a platinum blond base.
In addition to this two-tone coloring never experienced until now, she also sported a rebellious bowl cut deliberately letting out some frizz.
A risky hair look that contrasts radically with her usual style but which perfectly matches the audacious spirit of the event.
Let fans of her
French girl
look be reassured: it was most likely a wig worn especially for the occasion.

To perfect this “Barbiecore” makeover, the Chanel muse associated her make-up with her hair color.
Her rosy cheekbones, neon lipstick, and shimmery eyeshadow all matched in those same tones.

As for her outfit, Marion Cotillard played the card of nostalgia.
Keeping with the dress code theme "in honor of Karl Lagerfeld", she chose to wear a sparkling short dress by Chanel, from the house's fall-winter 2007-2008 haute couture collection.
The same one she wore when she received the Best Actress award at the Bafta Awards for her performance in
La Môme
, in 2008.
