After the birth of four lion cubs on December 31, 2022, the pink notebook of the Planète Sauvage animal park, located about twenty kilometers south-west of Nantes, has once again been enriched.
This time, the establishment announces the birth of three cubs.
Their names: Tchuck, Koda and Gaufrette.
The first two were born on January 24.
Their little sister showed up a little later, on January 27.
The cubs are already visible to the public from the American plain of the animal park.

The trio trudges across the American plain with the rest of the group of bears and a herd of wood bison.
“In the wild, the baribal bear is regularly the victim of poaching and its population is decreasing due to deforestation”
, specifies Planète Sauvage.

On the sidelines of the birth of the three cubs, Planète Sauvage evokes the particular gestation of the baribal bear.
If it lasts about seven and a half months,
“the embryo develops in just one and a half months”

“Newborn babies usually weighing between 200 and 450 grams are born deaf and blind and are breastfed by their mother for about eight months
