Soledad Acuña announced that she will not be a candidate for head of government: "The PRO needs a single candidate, that's why I made the decision not to compete in the PASO"

Immediately, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta responded to the publication, implying, between the lines, that the current Minister of Education will probably be a potential candidate for deputy head of government.

"None of us is more important than all of us together," highlighted Acuña on his Twitter account, one of those noted so far in the race to succeed Rodríguez Larreta.

And he continued, a 1.53-minute video, in which he highlighted his entire career within the PRO.

"Love for the City motivated me to be a candidate for Head of Government, but from the beginning I maintain that none of us is more important than all of us together. The PRO needs a single candidate, that's why I made the decision not to compete in the STEP," he said.

It is the second pre-candidate to drop, after Emmanuel Ferrario did it in March.

Therefore, of the four original PRO candidates, only the Minister of Government Jorge Macri and his Health Minister, Fernán Quirós, remain.

And he added: "The Change we need is much more than the sum of its parts. It is a transformation project that already belongs to the people. We did it together in the city and we are going to do it together throughout the country. Be united for what comes is our responsibility and our obligation".

In her video, she had also winked at the presidential candidacy of her political boss: "I am going to work so that Horacio can bring this change to all of Argentina."
