Born in Alsace, he spent his days there, at the Strasbourg Conservatory, before leaving, alone, to Germany, to Stuttgart and then to Dresden.
The teenager quickly realizes that the heart is not there anymore and decides to go up to Paris to learn model making.
A journey that strangely resembles that of Thierry Mugler, fifty years earlier, also from Alsace, who became a dancer at the Opéra national du Rhin in Strasbourg… and who left ballet aside to embrace the career of a Parisian fashion designer. .
