The incident happened on May 21, 2022 in a Leipzig hotel, where Stefan Mross is said to have had a violent argument with another man.

However, the moderator responded to the accusation that he had “beaten a man to the hospital” with “nonsense!”.

Instead, Mross explains what is supposed to have really happened.

"The guy started calling me 'Schlagerfuzzi' in the hotel restaurant," recalls the 47-year-old.

The man is said to have even followed him in the elevator to his hotel room.

Nevertheless, Stefan Mross immediately accepted the penalty order, which amounts to 80 daily rates.

He explains the reason for this in an interview: "I didn't want to have to deal with the guy in court, I didn't want to waste my life on something like that." He also didn't have a sleepless night because of it.

“I am a complete optimist.

I knew that I didn't have a criminal record," continued the hit star.

From May 7th, his hit show "Immer wieder Sundays" will start a new round on ARD.

Twelve episodes and one best-of episode are on the schedule.

"Speculations that my station would drop me were unfounded from the start," said Stefan Mross in relation to the hotel incident.

He is in lively exchange with his producer and his team and explained: "We always talk about everything, because I'm human and have my rough edges.

ARD never had any doubts about me.”

When it comes to love, Stefan Mross has also been busy in recent months.

After his separation from Anna-Carina Woitschack (30), he recently introduced his new girlfriend Eva Luginger (35).
