at the main Maradona mural that the capital of the Campania region proudly displays in the Spanish Quarter.

The area has been decorated for days with flags and with silhouettes of the footballers that make up the current squad, hanging from the power lines and also between the balconies.
The celebrations, each with their own particular color, had been multiplying for days.
On Thursday night, in the Case Nuove area, "the funeral of the championship" was staged: crosses identified with the shields of the other 19 teams participating in Serie A were placed on the ground and it was even moved there in a truck a coffin on which rested scarves from Juventus, Milan, Inter and Torino.

This Saturday, thousands of faithful and curious people made a pilgrimage to Diego's mural.
A win against Salernitana at San Paolo (now Diego Armando Maradona) would have given them the title, but they had to wait until Thursday when the draw in Udine sealed the fate of Serie A. All the accommodation places in the city are
occupied for days
, even in the hotel that the team usually uses in the days before each game.
The surveillance operation - which has been diagrammed for days -
all the Municipal Police forces are affected and the health and public transport services were reinforced

The festivities are distributed between the promenade, Piazza del Plebiscito, the Spanish Quarter and the Fontana del Carciofo in Piazza Trieste e Trento, where fans usually plunge into each celebration.
