Earlier this week, the court extended the detention of the suspect in causing the accident in which the toddler was killed, Yana Blum.
A hearing is expected to take place in Bloom's case later today, after her detention was extended until April 9.
Blum, 25, is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and straying from the traffic lane.
It was also discovered that Blum previously committed a similar offense a few years ago, when she drove drunk and her license was revoked.
