Faced with what it describes as "
unacceptable urban violence
" which occurs on the sidelines of demonstrations organized in the capital, the CPME Paris Île-de-France, the territorial union dedicated to VSEs-SMEs, pushes a "
rant
" and even makes the somewhat “
crazy
” proposal that these gatherings are now organized on the ring road.
A small "
provocation
" assumed this Thursday by its president Bernard Cohen-Hadad, who expressed his anger at the degradations committed by the thugs.
"
Insofar as the violence in the heart of the capital largely eclipses the claims in the media and public opinion, these demonstrations could take place symbolically in the immediate vicinity of Paris, but in areas less dense in shops and homes: why not on the ring road, which would be closed for the occasion and dedicated to the event, thus offering exceptional visibility with less security risk
, ”he wonders.

Traders “taken hostage”
“
Every time there is a demonstration in Paris, there are almost always
collateral damage
”, testifies the one who evokes a “
normalization of violence
” and deplores the “
significant loss of profits
” of traders, craftsmen and liberal professions, today "
taken hostage
" each time a social mobilization degenerates.
“
Unless I am mistaken, the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, is currently organizing a debate on the future of the device, so I am submitting this somewhat crazy idea”, ironically
Bernard Cohen-Hadad.
For him, it is above all "
an opportunity to show that there can be other routes on which we can demonstrate so that there is no collateral damage
".
At the same time, the entrepreneur proposes to organize states general of economic security in partnership with the City of Paris, the Prefecture of police, employers' organizations and trade unions, and this, in order "to limit journeys in areas of
high commercial and work density
", "
to secure the journeys
" and "
to make the trade unions responsible so that there is no more damage
", specifies the president of the CPME.
And the stated objective of its employers' organization is ambitious: "
to share an inventory of public security issues linked to protest demonstrations in Paris, and to identify the ways and means of improving the Parisian economic security situation, while respecting the constitutional right to peaceful protest
”.
