Crowds are expected to demonstrate tonight (Saturday) in about 150 centers against the government and the legal revolution - this is the 18th Saturday in a row.

The main focus of the demonstrations will be on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv under the title "Israel is on the brink of a dictatorship" where former minister Tzipi Livni will speak.

Hundreds of protesters have already arrived to protest in Rehovot, where opposition leader Yair Lapid gave a speech. The Rehovot-Nes Ziona road was blocked to traffic, following the protest. On



Tuesday, demonstrations were held throughout the country for and against the legal revolution. The leaders of the protest against the government called the day "National Equality Day ", and focused mainly on lowering the age of exemption from IDF conscription for yeshivas.

That evening a demonstration was also held in front of the house of the former president of the Supreme Court, Aharon Barak.

The demonstrators waved signs that read, among other things, "Enough with the racism of the High Court", "The people demand a Jewish state" and "We came to help find a Moroccan judge".

"We must protect and promote these values ​​every day."



Foreign Minister Eli Cohen responded to Sanchez's words on his Twitter account where he wrote: "The opponents of the reform have no red lines, including the attempt to harm the international status. No foreign party will decide for the public in Israel and I am sure that Sanchez has no such intention. As someone who supports With the reform, I have no doubt that it will strengthen democracy and balance the authorities."
