Update from May 4th, 10 p.m.:

During the day, a drone was shot down over the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

Ukrainian sources initially said it was a Russian drone.

However, several Russian and Ukrainian sources are now reporting that the drone that was shot down was actually a Ukrainian one.

This has since been confirmed by the Ukrainian Air Force in a message on Facebook.

The drone was a Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 and they were shot down because they lost control of the drone and wanted to prevent “undesirable consequences”.

"It's a shame, but that's technology and things like this happen.

It is probably a technical fault, the reasons are being determined," the statement said.

According to him, it was the third day of May with attempted attacks on Kiev.

"Since the beginning of the year, our city has not experienced such an intensity of attacks," Popko said.

Since the beginning of the year, these have been repeatedly damaged, especially those near the border and in Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories, the British Ministry of Defense said in a brief report on Twitter on Thursday.

Just a few days ago, a tank farm caught fire near the Crimean Bridge after a drone attack.

London suspects that the frequency of these attacks will have consequences: Moscow will probably be forced to reorganize its logistics and protect the fuel better or store it in less threatened areas, it said.

"We're not attacking either Putin or Moscow, we're fighting on our own territory and defending our villages and towns," the 45-year-old said at a press conference in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, on Wednesday.

Moscow is dreaming up something like this because Russia has already lost the war against Ukraine that began a little over 14 months ago.

The Kremlin is trying to motivate its soldiers for the war against Kiev.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, meanwhile, called for Zelenskyy's "elimination" in response.

"After today's act of terrorism, there is no other option than the physical elimination of Zelenskyy and his clique," Medvedev wrote on Telegram.

A "coherent" campaign is not possible.
