An important security perimeter will be set up in the morning around the National Memorial of the Montluc prison, on the occasion of the visit of Emmanuel Macron as part of the ceremonies of May 8, while several calls to demonstrate have been launched. , as with each trip since the promulgation of the pension reform.

The President of the Republic will come to pay homage to Jean Moulin and to the French Resistance in this high place of memory of the Shoah at the beginning of the afternoon, after the traditional passage under the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

The Rhône prefecture announces on this occasion

in the Montluc district from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vehicle traffic will thus be prohibited in an area extending from boulevard Vivier Merle to the west, to rue Saint-Firmin to the east and from avenue Félix Faure to the north to that of the Lumière brothers to the south.

Public transport traffic, in particular the T3 and T4 trams, metro D, the Rhône express and half a dozen bus lines, will also be disrupted in this sector.

Gatherings prohibited, police drones authorized
