On the lawn of Charles Clore Park, two bites from Tel Aviv's famous coastline, on May 18-15 between 23:00-18:00 the most exciting and largest chefs' picnic of the year "Tel Aviv EAT Festival" will be held. The festival, which takes place annually and presents for four days a variety of chefs and businesses that set the tone in Israeli cuisine, will this year include dozens of restaurants and eateries, street food stands and food trucks, sweet experts and salt champions, as well as lively and energetic stages of live performances, DJs and street performers. Among the chefs taking part in this year's event will be Haim Cohen, Israel Aharoni, Tomer Agay, Raz Rahav, Manal Ismail and Bino (Dr. Shakshuka), Rachel Ben Elul's sandwiches and Pescado's fish.

The event takes place as part of the "Oh May" events – Culture Month of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality with a culinary production by Nirit Dolberg-Amit. Chef Haim Cohen will arrive at the festival this year with Dixie's wings and Jaffa-Tel Aviv's gyros dish, Chef Israel Aharoni will also be at the festival with the burger he starred in last year. To the east, Nini Hachi with Pad Thai, Wong with Ban Chicken Curry and K-Pa Hanoi with Spring Rolls will land at the festival. Chef Shaul Ben Aderet will set up a "Blue Rooster Express" for the event and Chef Rachel Ben Elul will build her famous meat sandwiches in one of the stands in the plaza. Among other things, stands will be set up with cheeses from Basher Fromagerie and ice cream from Otello, and much more. All at discounted prices of 25-40 NIS.

"Tel Aviv's fine culinary reflects the special character of the city," says Mor Barda, deputy director of the Culture and Arts Department and director of the performance department at the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality. He adds: "Tel Aviv provides residents and visitors from all over the world with an abundant, happy and multicultural culinary variety. The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality is happy to hold Tel Aviv Eat this year as well and create an unforgettable dining experience."
