A secondary debate? At the end of last week, several deputies of the presidential camp did not hide their annoyance. At issue: the choice of the Renaissance group to keep on the agenda of the National Assembly a bill aimed at imposing the presence of the European flag on town halls. Rejected in committee last Wednesday after the adoption of two deletion amendments tabled by La France insoumise and the National Rally, the text, defended by the deputy of Val-de-Marne Mathieu Lefèvre, will be examined in public session on Tuesday.
And the debates are once again likely to turn against the majority group, Les Républicains, the RN and the Nupes being opposed. "In total disconnect with the priorities of the country," for example teased the deputy LR Eric Pauget, when the deputy RN Hervé de Lépinau believes that such a measure would be an "outrage to the Constitution". But that's not all, because even within the presidential alliance, some seem unexcited...
