A little more than two years after the death of the former president, here is the quai Valéry Giscard-d'Estaing inaugurated this Tuesday morning along the Musée d'Orsay in Paris (VIIth). Part of the Place Henry-de-Montherlant that connects the quay to the Rue de Bellechasse is also called Place Valéry-Giscard-d'Estaing. The mayor (PS) of Paris Anne Hidalgo, the mayor (LR) of the VIIth Rachida Dati (LR) and the president of the Musée d'Orsay Christophe Leribault are to unveil the plaque at 11 am, in the presence of the widow of the former head of state, Anne-Aymone Giscard-d'Estaing, and their son Louis, president of the Valéry Giscard-d'Estaing Foundation.
