The Brazilian player of Real Madrid Rodrygo Goes has suffered a robbery at his home in La Moraleja, in the town of Alcobendas, north of Madrid. The intrusion occurred in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday, when the footballer was playing the match of the final of the Copa del Rey in Seville against Osasuna in Seville. Precisely Rodrygo was the one who scored the double that gave the victory to the white team in the match, which ended with a 2-1 score.
The house was empty at the time of the robbery, since Rodrygo and his parents, who live with him in the villa, were in the stadium of La Cartuja, where the match was played. A private security employee of the home was the one who alerted the facts to the municipal police of Alcobendas, who went to the place and found visibly rioted several rooms of the house, where they collected evidence of the robbery, according to EFE sources of the investigation. At the moment it is unknown what the thieves took and how much the loot amounts. Rodrygo has not yet commented on the matter on social networks.
Other thefts
The white club plays this Tuesday from 21.00 hours in Madrid the first leg of the semifinals of the Champions League against Manchester City, another of the key events of the season. Other Real Madrid players such as Benzema and Dani Carvajal suffered robberies last year in their respective farms perpetrated by organized and specialized gangs, whose way of operating is to commit the facts when the players are disputing a match with their teams. In Benzema's case, the robbery occurred at his home in San Sebastián de los Reyes while he was playing a match against Elche at the Bernabéu. Daniel Carvajal reported a robbery of armed individuals at his home at the end of August 2022. The four members of the band were arrested by the Civil Guard months later.
In 2019, the former Atlético de Madrid footballer Thomas Partey, or the white player Isco Alarcon also suffered robberies. More dramatic was the case of Real Madrid player Casemiro who, while playing the derby with Atlético that year, suffered an assault in his house, where the footballer's wife and daughter were, who were not attacked by the thieves.
