It was a complicated rescue: a tractor and liquid manure truck overturned on the Sünzhausen-Geierlambach district road.

100,000 euros damage.

Sünzhausen

– An 18-year-old tractor driver built a spectacular accident: he and the liquid manure spreader overturned – which resulted in a fire brigade deployment and 100,000 euros in damage.

According to the police, the young man was on Saturday around 4.45 p.m. with his tractor and an empty liquid manure spreader on the FS 7 district road from Geierlambach in the direction of Sünzhausen when he initially left the road to the right for an unknown reason.

According to the police, the 18-year-old then twisted the steering wheel sharply to the left to prevent a collision with a tree on the road.

"The car and trailer crossed the oncoming lane, causing the combination to overturn across the lane to the right, blocking the entire road," the police report said.

The 18-year-old was then able to climb out of the tractor himself, but complained of abdominal pain after the accident and had cuts on his hands, which is why he was taken to Freising Clinic in an ambulance.

A telephone pole that had been hit by the towing vehicle and had fallen onto the tractor was erected by the fire brigade and stabilized with straps.

According to the police, there was apparently no damage to the telephone line.

The team had to be towed

The overturned combination was recovered from the ditch by a towing service and then transported away independently by the vehicle owner.

The team suffered material damage of around 100,000 euros, reports the Freising inspection.

In addition, the roadway was damaged and fuel got into the adjacent ditch.

Appropriate disposal measures were taken on site by the district building yard and the towing service.

The fire brigades in Kirchdorf and Schweiterkirchen were on site with a total of 30 people and five vehicles.
