(ANSA) - ROME, 08 MAY - Covering chairs faster at the beginning of the school year, also thanks to artificial intelligence. The Minister of Education Giuseppe Valditara spoke about it this morning in the column 'The minister responds', with the journalist Maria Latella.
"We want to speed up teacher assignment procedures and promote greater transparency in assignments," the minister explained. Today, then, teachers feel like bureaucrats: we want to abolish paper, the documentation they have to fill out, automate career reconstruction, just as the exchange of documentation between schools will all be electronically. By the end of the year we want some of these initiatives to be available; the Simplification Plan is three-year. The Plan also concerns the payment of salaries to substitute teachers: today it takes even 4 months or more, we aim to significantly reduce the payment and decrease the activities managed by the school secretariats. Then there is the issue of speeding up the activities leading up to retirement with career reconstruction: we will introduce the digital staff file; We want to give staff better information about their pension position."
