David Hatuel, whose family members were murdered in an attack near the Gaza Strip in 2004, spoke on Tuesday morning about the killing of terrorist Jihad Inam, who was one of those responsible for the attack. "This sends a clear message to the murderers that the people of Israel will always reach those who harm them," Hatuel said. "As long as they hurt us, they won't have a safe place on earth."
"On behalf of myself and the entire family, I thank God and the security forces for the assassination of the person who was responsible for planning the murderous attack of my wife Tali and our four daughters, Hila, Hadar, Roni and Merav, exactly 19 years ago," Hatuel added. "We come from eternal values, not revenge."

Tonight, the IDF eliminated three senior Islamic Jihad commanders in the Gaza Strip, launching Operation Shield and Arrow. This followed a period of unrest near the Gaza Strip, which included many rockets fired at communities in the area. In the south, a special situation was declared, including staying alongside protected areas.
Inam was among those killed and one of the senior and veteran operatives in the terrorist organization. He served as secretary of the organization's military council and, among other things, was also responsible for coordinating and transferring funds and weapons between Islamic Jihad and Hamas.
