Classes in communities up to 40 kilometers from the Gaza Strip will be canceled tomorrow, the Education Ministry announced Tuesday evening, following Operation Shield and Arrow. Studies will not take place in schools and kindergartens, nor in special education frameworks. The settlements are, among others, Sderot; Ashkelon; Sheva; Hura; Blades; furnish; Tel Sheva; Segev Shalom; Horizons; paths; Ashdod; Yavneh; Kiryat Gat; and Kiryat Malachi.
The English matriculation exam, scheduled for tomorrow, will also be postponed; The dates of the additional matriculation exams will be determined in accordance with the security situation and the instructions of the Home Front Command.

The Ministry of Education announced that starting at 10:00 A.M., a variety of reinforcement classes and digital workshops will be held through the Springboard website. In addition, the ministry is preparing to implement a procedure that will allow students living in localities where there will be no studies to be absorbed and study in schools and kindergartens in localities located within 40 kilometers of the Gaza Strip.
